London Road Media was born in the summer of 2016 when Lane Anderson saw an opportunity in Lethbridge for a firm that could deliver modern marketing and advertising strategies in southern Alberta.

Having spent three years in affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing, and having recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours English, Lane began to build an industry-leading boutique firm.

Starting out as a solo operation, the company quickly expanded to include Lyndsay Labrecque as Digital Media Producer. With her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Multimedia, and stunning digital editing skills, Lyndsay has helped us consistently deliver incredible content to our clients.

In 2018, the business was incorporated with Lane joined by his wife Jocelyn Anderson as co-owner of London Road Media Inc.

Soon after, Ben Laverock joined the team as an additional Digital Media Producer. His Bachelor of Arts in English was a mirror of Lane’s background, continuing to bolster the agency’s strength in storytelling and compelling communication.

Lyle Bateman joined the team next as Account Executive, bringing industry-specific knowledge to assist with a few key clients.

Then we accepted Alexanne Oke as a practicum student as she finished her Diploma of Business Administration from College of the North Atlantic in Newfoundland. She moved to Alberta for the Bachelor of Management and Marketing at the University of Lethbridge, and she proved herself so valuable during her practicum that she was hired on part-time as Marketing Specialist for copywriting and social media management while she completes her studies.

In February of 2020, we were proud to announce that London Road Media had been acquired by an exciting and innovative local private equity firm, Epiphany Group.

Epiphany Group’s existing internal three-person marketing department was merged with London Road Media, growing our team both in size and in talent.

Kari Bird brought her extensive experience as a marketing manager and director, and took on the role of Chief Operating Officer to manage our clients and team.

Stephanie Canning became an additional Digital Media Producer. Her amazing design talent is a huge asset, having created the visual representation of many Epiphany Group companies.

And we were also joined by Zach Mead, briefly as a part-time team member until he finished his studies at the University of Lethbridge, and then joining us full time to provide stunning photography, videography, and to assist in managing social media accounts.

We are proud to do all work in-house. Nothing is farmed out to freelancers or contractors because we believe that producing awesome results comes from having a cohesive team dedicated to a clear vision. And we can be held accountable to what we produce.

In our first year of business, London Road Media was nominated for a Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award, and Lane was named one of Lethbridge’s Top 40 Under 40. In our second year of business, London Road Media was nominated for a Celebrate Downtown award through The Heart of our City Committee. By year four, we were named as finalists for Best Social Media Agency at the Hashtag Awards, hosted by Canada’s largest digital marketing conference, SocialWest.
